This game is amazing. Plain and simple. In my opinion, it blows Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, and Halo 3 right out of the water. The possibilities in this game are endless. There are many different maps and weapons to use as well as options. For example, this game isn't like Halo 3, or any of the other shooters. You can't just run in and kill everyone yourself. You need your team to be with you if you want to survive. So there is an action part to this game as well as a strategic part. Whenever you play online, the goal is to kill the other team members. One of the main keys to this game is pinning the enemy down and flanking them. So teamwork is crucial to success. You also have to be smart. You have no aiming reticule when you are in the third person. So you have to guess or just know where your bullets will travel. Also, the sniper rifle is one of the best weapons to use, if you know how. You have to me smart to use this weapon because you are aiming for the enemies head. The enemies head is very small compared to the size of the rest of their bodies. Also, you have to trace the enemies movement well before you can take your shot. This is very hard because you don't know where they are going to go because you don't control them, obviously. This isn't your normal game because you have to be able to evaluate every situation that you are in and know exactly what to do and recognize this and react instantly. It's very difficult to get good at because I have been playing for a while and I am just barely getting the hang of the game.

Domination

c Microsoft 2005 c Sony 2006
So here the epic battle wages.......Which do you think is better? In my opinion I think the X box 360 is better because of the online interaction. You can play online, search the X box marketplace, or even use web cams to actually see the people you are talking to. I am sure you have seen several parodies on the Playstation 3 like "Hitler loses his X box" or the song "PS3 Sucks". They basically pick on the Playstation 3 and pick on Sony for it's high price, it's lack of internet capabilities, and the lack of games to play. Don't get me wrong I loved the playstation 2 because of the decent graphics, the enormous amount of video games to play, and the online capabilities. However, the X box 360 came out and basically everyone ditched their Playstations and went for a X box 360. There are two things that I believe that killed the Playstation 3. The first one is it's high price because who is going to buy that expensive of a system. I know the hardware that is inside the Playstation 3 is all high tech and top notch but people aren't going to want something that expensive. Also, the release date for the Playstation 3 was a lot later than the X box 360. This let people enjoy the X box and took people's attention away from Sony entirely. Also, there are no good video games out for it. So who is going to want to buy a Playstation 3 when they most likely have a X box 360, when the system costs an arm and a leg, and when there are no good games out for it. The answer is simple; No. The X box has all that people want. The X box 360 doesn't cost an arm and a leg. It's at a decent price and there are good games out for it too. Also there are endless online options which make people happy. This means that people are able to play a game online from all around the world. Oh wait, you can even rent movies online with X box gamer points. The Playstation 3 sure did put up a fight but with the good titles of "Halo 3" and "Oblivion", X box 360 sure wins the fight.

Gamerscore
Gamer score is my drive to play video games. I love hearing that sound because it's so reassuring that I am doing good video games. It's fun to compete with my friends too. "Hey how much gamer score do you have now?" or "I bet I have more gamer score than you have now." I love gamer score, and I am pretty sure that people have some opposing views on gamer score, for example, people think that achievements ruin video games, but I totally disagree with that. I think that gamer score adds a lot to playing video games. It's just another element for people to enjoy. For example, the X box has the X box market place is something that people enjoy having. I think that gamer score is similar to that. It's just another thing for people to enjoy and discuss with their friends. And it's also a good reason to exchange games in with Game Stop or with your friends to get a higher gamer score. I just wish they had gamer score on computers, play station, or any other system you can play games on because I don't have the desire to play games without achievements. I know it sounds kind of pathetic, but that is just the way it is. I know people who are exactly like me and I know some people who absolutely hate gamer score and the whole achievement aspect. In my opinion, I can't get enough of achievements. That sound is amazing!

Assassin's Creed
My best friend and I had been talking about this game for a long time before the game even came out. We were watching Assassin's Creed videos about three or four times a day. This game looked outstanding and we got it the day it came out. The next three days were devoted to Assassin's Creed, not to school, not to life, but just Assassin's Creed. I spent about half of my time looking for flags and view points while I was playing this game, which I think is one of the best additions a video game can have. When you can get yourself to stop looking for citizens to save, people to interrogate, items to steal, collecting flags, killing crusaders, and finding view points, you can actually play the storyline. This game has so much to do and I am sure that this game has about as much to offer as Mass Effect does (which is truly amazing). The story line is very complex, interesting, and confusing at the same time because it flashes from the present to the past several times in a row. This is ranked number two on my favorite games to play because it has almost too much to offer to the gamer. It's a very organized and gigantic game which has amazing visuals, stunning video scenes, and phenomenal game play. You should buy this game and give it a try even if you don't like third person adventure games, it's worth every cent of what you pay for it.
Mass Effect
I had been waiting for this game quite some time to come out. I had heard nothing but good things about this game and after reading all of the reviews about this game, I realized that I definitely wanted to buy this game. After I purchased this game and sat down playing it until five in the morning the night that I purchased it, I knew this is the best game I have played in a long time. After playing Mass Effect for thirty hours, I had played through one cycle of the game and I knew I was going to play it again. The graphics in this game are jaw-dropping and the amount of things that you can do is insane. I didn't even visit half of the planets in the galaxy after one play through, so the replay value for Mass Effect is extremely high. This game also offers very descriptive character customization. You can also choose you own class which varies from a soldier class to a biotic specialist to a technician specialist. This game is like Oblivion and Gears of War combined, on steroids. I am completely impressed with this game, the only thing that I don't like about it is the main story line only has five different sections. I wish they had made the game longer or found a better way to incorporate the side quests with the main quest more effectively to make the game seem longer. I strongly recommend this game to you if you like third person shooters.
